SL tickets in Travis
These SL tickets are available to purchase and use directly in Travis.
A travel day starts at 00.00 and ends at 4.30 am in the morning, so it can be a maximum of 28 hours and 30 minutes long. If you start a travel day at 23.30 with your 10/30 ticket, that day ticket will expire at 4.30 am the next morning. If you only want to make one trip during the night, you can buy a single ticket for that particular trip and save the 10/30 ticket for when you must make several trips during a travel day.
Did even Travis manage to sound complicated now? Here are some examples:
You are going to work, and you blip your 10/30 ticket at 7.30 am on Wednesday. Then you can travel as much as you want until 4.29 am on Thursday.
You have worked from home and want to take the bus to the after work downtown at 6.00 pm. You blip the 10/30 ticket, have a lot of fun with your friends and blip it again at 00.30 am when you go home. You have used one travel day and saved money compared to if you would have bought two Single Journey tickets.
You took a scooter both back and forth to the office in the nice weather, and then went to a restaurant with friends. When you go home at 11.30 pm it has started to rain – you want to go by bus instead. Then you buy a single ticket and save your entire travel day with the 10/30 ticket for another day.
